Having already removed original parquet flooring, chased pipework and installed a new radiator I was asked to measure up, propose and create a bespoke TV cabinet for a space adjacent to the chimney breast in their lounge. The customer had a preference for a shelf above dual doors to house a SKY box etc.
I looked into online furniture builders, but due the bespoke nature and options the client wanted, they weren’t really a viable option.
I researched options and drew up a plan for the unit, purchased the necessary MDF/fittings and created the unit purely from 2 x 18mm MDF large sheets.
Dual doors with quick release, adjustable soft close hinges were installed for a luxury feel.
The unit was then primed and painted in eggshell finish to complete the project.
