Ensuite - LU6
From a kind recommendation from a previous client we were asked to refurbish an ensuite bathroom.
All existing sanitaryware, extractor, tiles, flooring etc were removed creating an empty space ready for remodelling. The flooring/joists required strengthening and levelling due to being slightly out of true. We also removed a poorly fitted (and unnecessary) lintel to free up valuable space in the shower area allowing for a new dual hand and rain shower to be installed.
Messy pipework was modified and tidied and revised boxing was recreated along with integrated skirting and removable access panels for important areas. Basin waste pipe was hidden within the stud wall down into the boxed area.
New LED lighting was installed along with an improved, more modern extractor fan, upgraded close coupled toilet, . Ditra uncoupling was installed before the wood style plank floor tiles were installed with hidden opposing grout lines for a clean look and feel.
A big Thank You to our wonderful customer too for kindly making such lovely sandwiches for lunch and keeping us going! ;)

Quality control...
We had a scrupulous onlooker making sure we did our job properly on this one ;)

On the level...
For larger format tiles we always use a levelling system. This avoids the pitfall of having ‘lippage’ with uneven tiles. This looks unsightly and is totally unnecessary with the products on the market today.
