Bathroom - AL4

I was recommended by a friend and colleague to see a potential new customer with regards to the remodel of their bathroom.

I met the lovely couple and took measurements, talked through what they wanted/needed from their new bathroom, all over a lovely cup of tea too… ;)

I then went away and made some notes etc and sent an estimate of the works along with links to some bathroom images and items I was suggesting could work. As one of the couple had Parkinsons, I suggested going for items which were rounded and not square, sharp edged as they would be much more forgiving if they were to knock into them. Having rounded edges also creates more space in the room, if you look at the bath design and shower tray you can easily see the amount of space being saved, whilst also creating a design theme for the room.

The customer decided they wanted to go ahead and the project started.

I removed the existing, dated bathroom and began work on revising pipework for the new room. I had to design and choose everything very carefully and mm perfect as along with the bath, basin and toilet I had to also squeeze in a decent sized walking shower cubicle.

I revised the boxing for the shower area and included a bespoke niche/shelf area for toiletries etc, and lower boxing as I proposed and was installing a back to wall toilet with bespoke tiled back wall.

The basin was moved to the opposite side of the room along with the existing shaped mirror above with bespoke tile backsplash and trims. The radiator pipework was also modified to allow for a towel rail sneakily placed behind the door.

A complimentary wood effect LVT flooring was installed to finish the room along with new LED downlight for much improved lighting.
