A much needed bathroom remodel for a customer and moreover a very good friend…
Having got the most out of their bathroom for 20+ years without doing any major works, it was pretty past it’s best and due an overhaul!
At the initial meeting to measure up, discuss preferences, options, styles, positioning, colour schemes etc it was instantly obvious to upgrade and reposition the basin area. The space was previously where the boiler was located but an ideal spot for a ‘hotel style’ basin hideout.
This improvement involved some reworking of the waste, feeds and cabling but the result has created a much more spacious efficient room. Upragdes included a wall mounted vanity basin with custom supports and countertop, heated/LED mirror, custom boxing with wall mounted tap over a countertop basin.
Bespoke boxing/panelling was created to allow for new shower pipework and to create a custom niche/shelf area.
Custom LED lighting was installed over the shower boxed area, within the niche shelf and underneath the basin vanity unit. This was installed on a second gang giving two lighting options. A high output, loft mounted extractor was also installed along with a ceiling mounted Bluetooth speaker!
All wet areas tanked, high lumen variable warmth LED lighting, LVT flooring, a new dual outlet rain shower, l-shaped bath with matching glass screen and panel, minimal deck mounted filling valves with overflow filler (no tap!) and a large relocated towel radiator.
A final check and clean and another happy customer! ;)
