Upstairs Toilet Conversion - WD24
Having completed a wealth of different jobs for one of our customers around their home, we noticed a room that wasn’t being used to its full potential and made some suggestions.
They loved the idea and we set to work clearing the room and creating a totally bespoke washroom with separate storage cupboard, bespoke steps and toilet/airing cupboard.
As per our designed plan, framework was created for the stud walls, modified lighting and plumbing including new soil pipe and manhole modifications, inline extractor, new back to wall concealed cistern toilet, corner basin and wall cupboard.
Architrave and skirting also installed along with a new radiator and towel rail radiator within the wc area.
All walls insulated, new doors installed, carpet fitters laid new carpet and they now have a fresh new upstairs toilet and cupboard creating additional storage space and the convenience of an upstairs toilet.
We installed a Stuart Turner pump with custom Essex flange to the water tank giving much improved pressure on the hot tap as it was very low, being a gravity fed system on the same floor.
Our heating engineer installed a brand new Worcester Bosch boiler and we created a custom cupboard to hide it and also creating an airing cupboard with separate exterior space for their ironing board.
Handrails also installed into the wc and at the entrance/step area.
We additionally designed and 3D printed adapters for the downlights to allow for the sloped ceiling.
