Ensuite - AL3
We were recommended by a fellow trader to take a look at a customers ensuite which had a leak/mould issue. After a survey it was found there were multiple issues including loose tiles, poor tray seals and waste leaks.
After a complete removal of all failed/damaged wall, floor and tiled areas, mould removal and treatment the flooring and walls were fully repaired/replaced as required. Tiled wall areas were partially removed, walls reboarded with aqua panels and waterproofing applied ready for tiling. Various tiles were sourced and recommended to our client and a suitable tile chosen which matched the width of the current tiles. New tiles were installed so as to appear as a feature and not a repaired area.
We suggested and also installed a new shower door, chrome towel rail, new exposed shower valve and dual outlet riser system. Flooring was boarded out and LVT underlay installed. Damaged, unsafe and incorrect downlights were replaced with high lumen, IP rated LED units.
All grout was demoulded, cleaned and refreshed including 4 types/colours of sealant applied in all areas as required.
The adjacent bedroom flooring also needed extensive repairs and reboarding with 18mm ply, underlay and suitable LVT flooring specially installed to join on from the current flooring with almost no visible sign of flooring change. The bedroom wall was reboarded and plastered ready for paint.
