What we love… A bathroom refurb!
A good friend recommended us to a friend to checkout a leak they had in their bathroom. The stone shower tray was cracked down the middle and needed replacing, but they wanted to go for a complete refurb.
We put together some examples after a chat with them and put a plan in action.
Upon ripping out it was evident the leak had been there for a while as floor joists were damaged and the adjacent wall. This was repaired and treated, floors replaced with Dryguard/SBR’d ply and raised to avoid heating pipes.
Large format tiles chosen for the tiles and contrasting Zelliche green tiles part tiled in the remainder of the bathroom.
We also put a deep niche in the shower area and ceiling uplighting with PIR sensor controlled 12V LED lighting, modern pill mirror with demister, speakers and LED’s, comfort height modern toilet, white slate anti-slip super slim tray with fast waste, single shower screen with flipper and larger polished stainless steel towel rail.
The finish is much less fussy, modern, more spacious and usable with subtle details.
